Is it Impossible?

Have you ever hit a point in your life, which seems very impossible to you? If you haven’t faced a situation like that, don’t be too excited. You may face it one time or other in your lifetime. This is not a discouraging statement but it is a fact of life. No matter how great, how rich, and how strong we are, there are things that always come in our way, which seems quite impossible with our human ability.  There is a good side for impossibilities. If you look carefully, these impossibilities shape us in a proper way so that we can recognize what we are and what God is.  Certain impossibilities may even draw us more close to the Lord and increase our dependability upon Him. Our dependability upon God requires obedience to His word. When you obey God and depend upon Him, God will do miracles in your life through His power and strength. So how is your dependability upon God today? Are you thinking that you can achieve things by your own strength?  You may think that you do not need God and you can do anything without His help.  Just one simple situation in your life could bring you from top to the bottom. It could be your marriage, your job, your business, your beauty, your intelligence, or anything that you worship in your life more than God. But on the other hand, if you are obedient to God and trust in Him, He will lift you up and will deliver you from your troubles or impossibilities. Do you remember the story of Joseph?His own brothers sold him as a slave to the Midianite merchants for about 8 ounces of silver (Genesis 37:28).  Because of his faith, trust, and dependability upon God, God has turned his situation into a miracle. One night Joseph was in jail not knowing what is going to happen to his life the next day. . But by the next day morning, he is in king’s palace and in charge of all Egypt. Even though he was facing an uncertainty in his life when he was in jail, he did doubt neither God’s power nor His promise.  It all happened overnight when Joseph interpreted Pharaoh’s dream and gave the plan that God has revealed it to him.  “Pharaoh said to Joseph “Since God has made all this known to you, there is no one so discerning and wise as you. You shall be in charge of my palace, and all my people are to submit to your orders. Only with respect to the throne will I be greater than you” (Genesis 41:39-40). What a miracle? From the prison to the palace.  He can do the same to you if you trust in Him. Is there anything that is impossible for our God? Do you feel like you have reached end of the road without any hope? There is hope for you in Jesus Christ. All you need to do is submit yourself to Him and let Him be your Master and Lord. Ask Him to come into your heart today. He is ready to receive you with His love. Ask Him to deliver you from the trouble, which you are in right now. Because, “For with God nothing is impossible” (Luke 1:37)
